Remote Mouse

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Remote Mouse, including the Android mobile app and Windows Host desktop app, handles data.

Last updated: May 23, 2026

Information We Collect

Remote Mouse is designed to work on your local network. The app does not currently have an account system, and Sidrion Labs does not currently operate cloud sync for Remote Mouse.

The mobile app may store app settings, onboarding status, a local device identifier, a device name, and trusted-device session information on your device. The Windows Host may store trusted-device information locally on your PC so previously paired devices can reconnect more easily.

How Data Is Used

Locally stored device and session information is used to pair your phone with your PC, resume trusted sessions, remember app preferences, and support the core remote-control experience.

Remote Mouse does not upload your personal files, clipboard contents, typed content, mouse activity, keyboard input, or desktop content to Sidrion Labs servers.

Local Network Communication

Remote Mouse communicates between the Android app and Windows Host over your local Wi-Fi or local network. Discovery uses local network broadcasts so the phone can find the PC, and control commands are sent to the Windows Host over a local WebSocket connection.

Remote Mouse is not designed to route remote-control commands through Sidrion Labs cloud servers.

Security

Pairing and trusted sessions are used to help ensure that only approved mobile devices can control the Windows Host. Session information is stored locally and should be protected by the normal security of your phone and PC.

You should only use Remote Mouse on networks you trust and keep both the mobile app and Windows Host updated.

Third-Party Services

Based on the current app implementation, Remote Mouse does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.

The app may rely on platform services and libraries required to run the Android app and Windows desktop app, such as local storage, networking, and operating-system APIs.
